We Visited Roger Williams Park Zoo

On Friday, Joe and I took the kids to Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, RI. It's about a two and a half hour drive there and the kids did great in the car. The girls were watching for motorcycles, which were out in abundance, and Nate just sat back and enjoyed all the cars on the road.

We'd heard good things about the zoo and weren't disappointed in the least. It was very easy to get to, we managed to park really close to the entrance and the weather was picture perfect at a cool 65 degrees.
The kids loved all the animals but the favorites were, in no particular order; giraffes, elephants, piggies, cows and the goats. Enjoy a small fraction of the 200+ photos we took!
Elephant blowing a puff of dust! Beautiful giraffe! We saw this one stand up and what an amazing feat! It looked as though it took a tremendous amount of effort!
What're you looking at?
A baby peeking out from behind a rock!

Pffffft!!
The roos were lazy while we were there! Never moved!
Lexi (pink) and Maddie (white) enjoying a snack!
Lexi giving me a goofy smile!
Nate loving the zoo!

As usual, Brandy, you took some amazing pics of animals AND kiddos. I am so glad you and Joe are in the pics this time, too. Looks like you all had fun. Love the giraffe with his/her black tongue!
