The Hot Days of Spring
Whew. I think Mother Nature is trying to kill me. Seriously. We're on day four of 95+ degrees...and we finally broke down and put in the air conditioners. Today topped out at 102 and the upstairs was a sweltering 97. UNBEARABLE!
The kids and I holed up in the basement since there's a/c down there already. Coming upstairs to use the bathroom and make meals was horrific! :) But alas, the air conditioners are now in upstairs and boy is it nice! By tomorrow morning, we should be at a cool, dry 75 degrees!!
On Saturday, we were at Walmart and picked up this inexpensive pool for the kids. When we were looking at them, all 3 kids said they did NOT want to go in the pool. By the time we were home, 2 of 3 had changed their mind. It didn't take long for the 3rd to reconsider. All 3 of them have had colds/running fevers for the last 5 days or so. Even with the fevers and not feeling well, they had a great time!! Enjoy the pics! Maddie's wearing the blue swim suit, Lexi the pink/white.
